ClearWater Initiative promotes simple, innovative solutions for clean water in conflict-affected areas of northern Uganda. We strive to achieve this mission through technical excellence, responsible use of donor funds, and compassion for the needs of individuals overwhelmed by circumstances beyond their control. ClearWater Initiative was founded by Benjamin Sklaver in 2007 following his return to the U.S. after serving in Uganda for the military. Ben had witnessed how clean water could transform a village and allow for peaceful resettlement and development in conflict areas, and today ClearWater's mission grows from this vision. ClearWater Initiative is now on track to directly impact the lives of more than 50,000 people by 2013. |
